If you have come here…
there is probably a prayer that has been with you for a long time.
Perhaps you are praying for a marriage partner.
Perhaps for a child.
Perhaps for healing.
Perhaps for a livelihood.
Only you and the Holy One, blessed be He, know how many tears, how much hope and how much faith are inside that prayer.
We too believe in the power of prayer.
And so we chose to do something simple.
To add one more prayer.
Not for ourselves.
For someone else.
Our sages taught us:
‘One who prays for another is answered first.’
Imagine…
at this very moment someone is praying for you,
and you are praying for another Jew.
Without knowing one another.
Without knowing who stands on the other side.
Out of one wish alone —
that it should be well with another Jew.
This is our mutual responsibility.
And when one prayer meets another prayer,
a chain of faith is formed,
a chain of hope,
and a chain of Jews holding one another.
Because the strength of the people of Israel is in its heart.
And all Israel are responsible for one another.

Hitgashmut is a platform that connects Jews from all over the world in mutual, anonymous prayer.
Everyone arrives with a different prayer in their heart — a marriage partner, a child, healing, or another request.
The initiative allows every Jew to pray for another Jew out of faith, mutual responsibility, and love of Israel.
